I've been using FlakeFree acne lotion with zinc and tea tree oil for many years. Even though I don't get acne often any longer, when I do feel one forming, I simply apply the zinc and tea tree lotion to the area on my face and usually it's gone by the next day before becoming noticeable.
Zinc and tea tree oil are both anti-bacterial, as well as anti-inflammatory. Tea tree also has penetrating qualities so it gets to the root of the bacteria quickly. (more...)
Take 20-40mg of zinc per day for a couple months. Doctor prescribe up to 50mg for pregnant women with acne bc they can't take prescription drugs. Zinc helps your body fight the bacteria that cause pimples. Probiotics help there as well.

one of the reason for acne is non-cleaning of stomach(intestine)
1. For this after waking up take one glass of water with juice of one lemon in it and drink it. After 5 to 10 min go to toilet. Ur stomach will be completely clean.
2. Use some lemon juice on ur face but slightly diluted. It will bring glow and charm to ur face.
I m an engg. Student and i follow this routine which is best suited for me.
Clidamyacin phosphate and Retin-A Micro are two things that i use for acne. and i've had no acne unless i skipped a day or two thinking i was cured of acne. I got great results and the clindamyacin stuff burns a little but i really only use Retin-A micro applied to effected areas sparingly before bed and after waking up i wash it off and put some more on before the day and my face will get a little oily around the nose throughout the day but id take that over acne any day. I just have to remember to like wipe my face if the sun's making a reflection on my skin. lol. (more...)
Run the shower as hot as you can stand it for three or more minutes on the affected areas. Move in and out of the stream if it gets too hot. When I did this it was two weeks before the pimples stopped coming back. 500 miligrams of Vitamin C daily helps to keep it away.
The toothpaste used for cleaning teeth can also be used to treat acne. Apply some toothpaste on your acne before going to bed. This will help reducing the swelling and within a day or two your acne will be treated.
I have struggled with acne since I was ten years old, and have tried everything. I'm about to be 30 and at my breaking point with acne. Currently, I have acne on my jawline, under my neck, and some on my forehead. I have done a ton of research and here is what I have found:
Pay attention to labels! (Most products have chemicals, dyes, sulfates, and others that are terrible for the skin).

I have very oily skin and the use of makeup doesn't help my situation all that much, I've tried witch hazel and yes it works, but not as strongly as I wanted it to. Then I realized witch hazel was just another form of alcohol so I thought, why not? Every morning and night after I washed my face and befor applying my makeup, I would take cotton balls, squeeze alcohol onto them and then gently scrub the ball all around my face. It stings a little, but you will totally feel refreashed as your face is in the process of drying and the coolness of the air relaxes your face muscles. (more...)
