acne remedy

i use to break out alot on my chin and forehead and i tried every product the stores could offer. i finally found a product by Clean and Clear. its called Persagel and it has 10% benzoyl peroxide, which is the same medication prescribed by doctors and dermatologist. but it can be found at your local drug store. trust me guys this gel really works.

Lemon Juice

Hello,
I suffer from acne, on my face and chest.

i was looking at different home remedies, and i couldnt find one that worked so i decided to combine a few.

Wash your face usuing just soap and warm water. Get some lemon juice, doesnt have to be fresh, put some on some cotton wool. And dab affected area.
It help to strech the skin and get the lemon juice into the affected pore.
it maybe painful. after the pain has stopped do this again.
and just before you go to bed, dab a bit of toothpaste on the spot. not on the skin as it will make your skin dry but just on your spot. (more...)

Anti-Itch

If you have somewhere important to go and you want the redness to go down apply some Hydrocortisone Anti-itch cream. It drastically reduces the redness of acne in at least 30 minutes. However, it must be cleaned off as soon as possible because if it is left on for more than 5 hours at a time it will clog pores and get infected.

Banana Squish

Squish one banana and pat it on your face. Leave it on for 20-25 min. Your face should feel rejuvanated, smmoth, and not covered in acne.

Oatmeal mask

Add this to your daily acne treatment plan. Blend a cup of uncooked oatmeal with just enough water to make a thick mask. Apply the mask to your entire face and leave on for 15 minutes. Rinse with cold water. The oatmeal seems to reduce the redness and inflammation and also pulls out any excess oils. It also leaves the skin feeling very soft.

Strawberry leaves for inflammation

There is a direct link between pH and inflammation, such as what happens when your acne gets very red and painful. Basically, acidity, or low pH, aggravates inflammation, while alkalinity, or high pH, relieves inflammation. Grated potato poultice

Potatoes have very powerful absorbing qualities. I know when I'm making soup, if I add too much salt, I can just cut up a potato into large chunks and toss it in. Cucumber mask

Goat's milk recipe

After suffering for acne for my entire adult life, I one day decided I would systematically figure out what helped and what didn't. One of my experiments was to stop drinking milk. Right away the inflammation in my pimples went away, and then slowly but surely my acne cleared up. Apparently the milk protein casein can aggravate acne, sometimes more than in others.
