I suffered with horrible acne for years, well into my adulthood. I tried everything including perscription drugs and proactive, everything would work great for the first few weeks then suddenly stop working completely! Finally I decided to stop treating the acne and start treating the fine lines and wrinkles that were showing up between the zits, my skin drying acne rutine was not making me look any younger! Imagine my suprise when not treating the acne anymore actually helped! Now I only wash my face morning and night instead of 3 or 4 times a day and
I use age fighting face wash instead of medicated stuff. Plus I use moisturizer under my makeup now which I never did before. I dont even get the occasional period zit anymore! I think in my case I was over drying my face which caused it to produce more oil and that mad my acne worse. I dont think every acne case is alike but if you are noticing things like drying and peeling between your zits, like I was, you might want to give it a try. It wouldnt hurt after all.

I do not have acne by any
I do not have acne by any means, but I have noticed that my skin behaves much worse after I go overboard with cleansing products. By overboard I mean washing my face more than once or twice each day, or exfoliating too many times in a week. Everyone's skin is unique though, and this won't work for everyone, but she's right, it can't hurt to try.
Home remedies for acne
Sandalwood paste is a very good remedy for acne. It can be mixed with rosewater or oatmeal and applied before going to bed every day and washed off the morning.
