Acne Masks

1. Mask from turmeric (turmeric powder and a bit of water to get a paste). I put it on my face for about 10 min or until dry. It mildly stings my face. I like when it happens, especially when it comes to acne and oily skin like mine. The next day all my existing pimples are visibly dried up and the following day, they are almost gone. One of the cons, however, of this mask is that it stains your skin yellow and it's really hard to get rid of it. So, warn your family about what you're doing. (more...)

Clearasil Seal to Clear

I have acne that will not go away. After trying everything imaginable (I even tried prescription drugs) to clear my acne, I tried Clearasil. Most of their products work in moderations but their "seal to Clear 4 hour" product works immediately. I love it.

Cod Liver Oil and Raw Goat Milk

I've had acne ever since I was 16 and worked in a coffee shop. The caffeine, dairy, sugar and wheat threw my system off balance. I also have scoliosis and this compromises my breathing and the oxygenation of my blood. I am very thin so have always eaten very fatty food, leading to a stagnant liver and dirty blood. In the past 18 years, I've tried many remedies. This is what I have found works: (more...)

Less Sugar

Believe it or not, Acne is caused by too much sugar in the blood. Reduce your sugar, cleanse your colon, kidneys and liver with detox cleanser and watch your acne disappear. Sugar includes all sweets, potatoes, white rice, white bread, corn and even carrots to some degree. (I wouldn't get rid of carrots...I would just eat in moderation). (more...)

Acne Cure

If you get acne frequently due to oily or dirty skin, try rubbing alcohol. My family has done it forever and I've noticed a big difference because the alcohol dries out my pores. I do not have chronic acne so this trick works for the occasional break-out as well. Apply rubbing alcohol on your skin using a cotton ball, make sure to get the areas that are mostly affected. If your skin becomes dry afterwards, try using facial lotion, but do not be excessive.

*warning: if your acne is caused by dry skin, this may not work as it will dry out your skin even more.
