Roasted pomegranate paste

This is a strange remedy, but worth a try. Take the skin of a pomegranate and roast in an oven until dry and crispy (but don't burn it -- low heat is crucial for this). Pulverize this skin into a fine powder. Mix this powder with enough water to make a thin paste. You can now use this paste as an acne treatment by applying it directly to acne, blackheads, whiteheads, and pimples.

Grated potato poultice

Potatoes have very powerful absorbing qualities. I know when I'm making soup, if I add too much salt, I can just cut up a potato into large chunks and toss it in. Fenugreek mask

Create a paste from fresh fenugreek by grinding in a mortar and pestle. You may have to add a small amount of water to get it to the right consistency. Apply this as a mask to areas that are prone to pimples or blackheads and leave on for 10-15 minutes. Rinse off with warm water. Try to incorporate this into your daily routine. This works well for pimples, blackheads, and wrinkles.

Blackhead jaggery peel

For blackheads: create a thick paste from jaggery and water. Apply to the area with blackheads and let it dry for 20 minutes. Peel off the dried paste and it will pull out the blackheads along with it. Sort of works like those strips you buy, except a lot cheaper.
