Create a mud mask by combining 1/2 cup clean mud with a bunch of finely chopped basil and the juice of a lemon. Apply this mask to your face or wherever you have your acne problems. Do this once per day and you should see dramatic improvements in just a few days. The lemon and basil contain natural purifying agents, and the mud draws toxins out of your skin.
Create a paste from fresh fenugreek by grinding in a mortar and pestle. You may have to add a small amount of water to get it to the right consistency. Apply this as a mask to areas that are prone to pimples or blackheads and leave on for 10-15 minutes. Rinse off with warm water. Try to incorporate this into your daily routine. Create a solution of equal parts lemon juice and rose water. You can make as much as you need for a week or so and keep it in the refrigerator. Once a day apply this solution to your acne-prone areas using a cotton ball. Let the solution dry on your face and leave for half an hour. Rinse with cool water.
Tea tree oil is a very potent natural extract that you can apply directly to pimples to help clear them up. Some people are sensitive to it so try just a little in an inconspicuous spot first to make sure it's not going to cause irritation. If it does you can dilute it, or if not you can use the oil without diluting. Just dab a small bit directly onto each pimple.
Create an herbal tea infusion of rosemary by soaking a teaspoon of dried rosemary in a cup of warm water for about ten minutes. Use this tea as a rinse to cleanse breakout areas. You could do this a few times per day. This will clean your skin without drying it out, and help alleviate the painful inflamation that comes with bad acne breakouts.
