i have had acne since i was 12. im 13 now and i use something unusual on my face. i use miracle whip.
Directions:
-wash your face in warm or cold water ( i use warm water to kill the bacteria)
-apply a small amount of Miracle Whip onto your face and make a thin layer.
-Let it dry for 10-15 mins. (it will sting only a little but if u have a open sore it will sting a little more) (more...)
Grind neem leaves and turmeric in a mortar and pestle to create a paste. You can a little fresh water if it is too thick. Apply this paste as an acne treatment mask and leave it on for half an hour. Wash it off with clean water.
Create a paste by mixing turmeric powder and mint juice. Use this as a mask on any areas where acne is a problem for you. Rinse it off with clean water after 20 or 30 minutes. A very good acne treatment to use every day.
Here's a good face mask you can use as an acne treatment. Create a mask with the pulp of a tomato or two (depending on the size of the tomato). Drop the tomatoes in a food processor until well blended. Apply this pulp to your face and leave on for a couple of hours. Wash off when done with clean water.
Grind some orange peel in a mortar and pestle with just enough water to make a thick paste. Apply this paste as a facial mask around any pimples or areas where you get zits and acne. Leave on for 30 minutes to 2 hours and rinse with cool water. Clears acne, leaves skin fresh and smooth, and smells great!
Create a thick paste by mixing cinnamon and just enough honey to hold it together. Apply this as a facial mask and leave on as long as possible. If you can, you should even sleep with it on. Repeat often. The best part about this mask is that if any of it gets into your mouth it tastes great!
Squish one banana and pat it on your face. Leave it on for 20-25 min. Your face should feel rejuvanated, smmoth, and not covered in acne.
Add this to your daily acne treatment plan. Blend a cup of uncooked oatmeal with just enough water to make a thick mask. Apply the mask to your entire face and leave on for 15 minutes. Rinse with cold water. The oatmeal seems to reduce the redness and inflammation and also pulls out any excess oils. It also leaves the skin feeling very soft.
Cucumber has some special properties that make it able to draw out toxins and other nasty stuff in the skin, and otherwise make the skin healthier. I always hear about expensive salons doing cucumber masks for their clients. Well, you can do them too, but much cheaper and at home. (more...)
Create a paste from fresh fenugreek by grinding in a mortar and pestle. You may have to add a small amount of water to get it to the right consistency. Apply this as a mask to areas that are prone to pimples or blackheads and leave on for 10-15 minutes. Rinse off with warm water. Try to incorporate this into your daily routine. This works well for pimples, blackheads, and wrinkles.
